On January 30, 2018, The Mayday Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Olympia, Washington, received recognition for our environmental consciousness.
The Thurston County Chamber of Commerce granted The Mayday Foundation a Thurston Green Business award and will recognize us during the April 11 luncheon. The designation is awarded to businesses and organizations that save water, conserve energy, reduce waste and buy or sell green. The Thurston Chamber recognizes that these are all sustainable steps that improve the health of our community and environment. The Thurston Green Business designations is sponsored by the Port of Olympia, Intercity Transit, LeMay Pacific Disposal, Olympia Federal Savings and Puget Sound Energy.
Thank you Thurston Chamber for recognizing The Mayday Foundation’s efforts to be as good a steward of our environment as we are of our donor’s funds.
