When JT was diagnosed with cervical cancer, her car was in the shop. JT had to leave it there while she was hospitalized and ultimately diagnosed. The single mother of one child also owns her own business. Money is tight and the cancer diagnosis prevents JT from working for the next few months while she is in treatment. JT is supported by her sister and mother who reached out to The Mayday Foundation based on the suggestion of a Providence Regional Cancer Center social worker.
“I can’t tell you how grateful I am for your help,” says JT’s mother. “I had a lot of tears in the last few weeks but the tears I have with your news of assistance where the only ones of joy! The relief I feel not only for JT but also for myself is fabulous. Thank you for lifting the financial burden.”
With your generous donations, we have covered JT’s rent and utilities for the next month as well as paid off her mechanic’s bill and sent off a gas and grocery gift card.
